War of the Worlds Remembrance

Warrior minds are needed to try every method of attacking those dastardly devices. Perhaps snares to entangle the tripod legs thus sending them crashing to the ground allowing hordes of humans to descend upon the fallen foe and disable it.

Pit traps appearing to be solid ground but when a tripod foot lands atop the trap the sudden lurch downward may cast it asunder, maybe helpless on its side as legs and arms flail helplessly since the aliens inside are stunned (hopefully) and unable to react in a defensive manner.

Many possible scenarios and all must be tried in the hope that the invading horde can be defeated.
